LSAT Exam Preparation
The LSAT is an essential exam for anyone seeking admission to law school in the United States. Nearly all ABA-approved law schools require LSAT scores as a core part of the application process. A strong LSAT score can make the difference between acceptance at a top-tier program and a rejection letter.
The test consists of five 35-minute sections of multiple-choice questions, plus a writing sample. At Lingva Pro learning center, our experienced instructors help students master every section of the LSAT through personalized tutoring and strategic preparation.
Test Sections
Reading Comprehension
Demonstrates the ability to read, understand, and analyze examples of lengthy and complex academic materials similar to those encountered in law school.
Analytical Reasoning (Logic Games)
Tests the ability to understand structures of relationships and draw logical conclusions about ordering, grouping, and matching.
Two Logical Reasoning Sections
Assess the ability to analyze, critically evaluate, and complete arguments. These sections make up roughly half of the scored exam.
Unscored (Experimental) Section
A variable section used to pretest new questions or evaluate new test forms. It is indistinguishable from scored sections.
Writing Sample
Requires you to construct a persuasive argument for one of two positions. While not scored, the essay is sent to law schools as part of your application.
LSAT Structure at a Glance
The total test time is 2 hours and 55 minutes. Understanding the timing and question distribution is critical for effective pacing.

Scoring
The LSAT is scored on a scale of 120 to 180. The median score is approximately 150, while a score of 170 or above places you in the top 2–3% of test-takers. Since law schools heavily weigh LSAT scores, thorough preparation is essential to achieve your best possible result on the first attempt.
What the LSAT Measures
The LSAT measures skills considered essential for success in law school: the ability to read and comprehend complex texts accurately, organize and manage information, draw reasonable conclusions, think critically, and evaluate the reasoning and arguments of others. These are exactly the skills required in legal education and practice.
