Russian as a Foreign Language (TORFL) — Courses
The TORFL (Test of Russian as a Foreign Language) course is designed for non-native speakers who wish to master the Russian language for academic, professional, or immigration purposes. The program prepares students for the internationally recognized TORFL exam, which certifies Russian language proficiency at CEFR levels A1 through C2.
Whether you are a complete beginner or an advanced learner, our course covers grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, listening, and speaking — tailored to your goals and your level.
Exam Structure
The TORFL exam contains five parts: Writing, Vocabulary & Grammar, Reading, Listening, and Speaking. Each part is scored separately, and you must pass all five to earn certification.
At A1–A2 levels, instruction focuses on basic phrases and survival communication. B1–B2 levels involve text analysis, argument building, and opinion expression. C1–C2 require academic fluency, cultural awareness, and the ability to discuss abstract topics with nuance.
The exam typically spans two days and is available on paper or digitally at certified testing centers worldwide.
